WiFi Locator

Have you ever wondered about the invisible networks buzzing around you? With the WiFi Locator utility, you can peek into that hidden digital world. This lightweight tool runs quietly in the background, keeping an eye on all nearby wireless networks and spotting any new ones that pop up. It shows you a bunch of useful details like the network name (SSID), when it was detected, signal strength, MAC address, and even RSSI values. Plus, it lets you tweak your access point’s frequency and range. If you want to dive deeper, just head over to the Network tab for more info.

Getting started is super simple. After you’ve got the WiFi Ismall Utility up and running, fire up the WiFi Locator again by right clicking the Local Area Connection icon on your desktop and selecting "Scan." A window will pop up where you can pick a network just choose the one you like. Click "New Access Point" to set up your own WiFi connection. Windows will detect it, and your PC or laptop will connect automatically. You can watch all the details of your new network show up in the status bar at the bottom of your screen.

From your desktop, you can also manage your saved networks. Group them however you want, pick your favorite SSID from the list, and hit "Connect." The cool part? WiFi Locator doesn’t need any installation it’s already part of your system if you’ve run Windows Update.
