By his side are a whole host of unique animal allies, each with their own skills and personalities. The game’s hand drawn art style brings this vibrant animal kingdom to life, making every new location feel like a page from a legendary, sometimes perilous, storybook.

The heart of Untamed Tactics is its clever, turn based combat. Think carefully about every move, because positioning is everything. Pushing enemies into hazards, using the terrain for cover, and combining your party's abilities are the keys to victory. But it’s not all about fighting. The game features a brilliant "Parley" system, where you can sometimes talk or intimidate your way through encounters using a unique card based dialogue minigame. These choices matter, shaping your relationships and even altering the story's path.

For replayability, Untamed Tactics offers two distinct ways to play. The Campaign mode delivers a focused, character driven narrative. Once you've mastered that, the Nightmare mode switches things up with rogue lite elements, featuring procedurally generated maps and challenges that will test your tactical prowess in new ways every time. You can also customize your squad with upgrades like Runes and Gems, letting you fine tune your strategies for different battles.
