Train Depart

If you're into horror games that get under your skin without overstaying their welcome, you've got to check out Train Depart. It’s a short, free to play indie horror experience developed by shipscaptain that really nails that feeling of being alone and vulnerable in a strange place. You play as a 16 year old traveling solo on a train, trying to reach family waiting at the other end but things quickly take a dark turn.

The game puts you right in the protagonist’s shoes with smooth first person controls, making it easy to move around and interact with the environment. You’ll meet other passengers and train staff, but not everyone is who they seem. One character in particular a mysterious male staff member might actually be an impostor with sinister intentions. The tension builds quickly, and even though the whole experience wraps up in under ten minutes, it leaves a lasting impression. Fans of atmospheric horror and narrative driven games will find this little gem hard to forget.
