Ever heard of ThinkFree Office? It's a totally free web based office suite that lets you create, open, and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations pretty much everything you’d do in Microsoft Word, but without the price tag. The cool part? It looks and feels a lot like MS Office, almost like a twin from a distance. In fact, some people say it’s so similar it might have taken a few design cues! Though fair warning: when I tried the free trial, it occasionally acted a bit quirky sometimes closing unexpectedly with a weird error about not recognizing my operating system. Still, if you're used to Microsoft’s layout, you’ll feel right at home here thanks to its familiar graphical interface.

One of the handiest features is how easily you can import files. Whether it’s a PDF, a Word doc, or something else, just pick your file, hit “import,” and you’re good to go. ThinkFree Office also packs a solid writing tool that supports pretty much any text format you throw at it even plain text. Oh, and no more struggling to remember passwords! It comes with a built in password manager to keep your docs safe and secure. There’s even an integrated calendar to help you track appointments, birthdays, or super private meetings you don’t want popping up on your public schedule.
