Here’s how the magic happens: You fire up the Syncplay client on your computer, which then opens your media player (like VLC). It connects you to a Syncplay server and drops you into a virtual "room" with your friends. The cool part? Every time someone hits pause, play, or jumps to a different scene, that command is instantly sent to the server and relayed to everyone else in the room. Your players stay perfectly in sync. The server acts like a diligent stage manager, constantly checking everyone's position in the video. If someone joins late, they're automatically brought to the right spot. If someone's connection lags and they fall behind, the system gently nudges them back in line with everyone else.
