Developed by the legendary 3D Realms the same studio behind iconic titles like Duke Nukem this Windows game throws you right into the heart of interstellar chaos. With 34 levels of non stop blasting, you'll dive through asteroid fields, explore underwater wreckage in enemy territory, and battle across the harsh alien planet of Zile.

What really makes Stargunner stand out is its progression system. Blow up enemy ships, collect power ups and credits, and use them to upgrade your ship with better weapons and faster engines. You’ll need every advantage you can get, too there are 75 different enemy crafts and 33 bosses waiting to test your skills. The action is fast, the challenge is real, and there’s always something new to blow up.

Even though it’s an older title, Stargunner holds up surprisingly well. The pixel art graphics have a retro charm, and the controls are smooth especially if you play with an Xbox 360 controller, which the game partially supports.
