SCP-087

Ever wondered about the connection between SCP 087 and the Grand Canyon? It sounds like something out of a sci fi thriller, but it’s actually part of a wild theory involving alien abductions and virtual reality experiments gone wrong. Let’s break it down.

The story starts with the mysterious death of a scientist, Dr. Morris J. Green, who worked at a high security facility. His death wasn’t just a tragedy it was the spark that pushed the Foundation into action, specifically to contain a virtual world they call Site xi. Inside this digital realm, they discovered two entities, both calling themselves "SCP," and both claiming to be responsible for keeping Site xi under control. But here’s the twist: the Foundation isn’t even sure these beings are real. Some insiders think they might be the result of a failed cross breeding experiment one that ended with Dr. Green’s death and unleashed something nobody saw coming.

Through what they describe as a "viral transfer" though they still don’t know where it originated the Foundation managed to isolate these creatures. But the mystery only deepens from there. Are these two entities separate, or are they somehow connected? The Foundation’s best guess is that they might be dealing with genetic duplication a kind of eerie copy paste situation where Dr. Green and another victim of the outbreak could actually be the same person. If that’s true, it would explain why the two SCP 087 samples found in the facility are so similar, and why photos of a staircase in Site xi look identical. It might also mean that containment failed simply because the virus spread too fast, or because one of these creatures broke free before protocols could be enforced.

So, what’s being done about it? The Foundation is currently testing a new containment method that involves using photographs specifically focusing on the eyes to somehow trigger a genetic memory in these entities and lure them back. It’s still in the early stages, and nobody knows if it’ll work on SCP 087 or any of the other bizarre specimens they’ve cataloged. But with more data and analysis, we might soon get answers to one of the Foundation’s most puzzling cases yet.
