Combat lets you choose from a range of weapons swords for quick strikes, spears for reach, maces for raw power each changing how you approach fights. But it’s not all about hacking and slashing. Your choices in conversations actually matter, shaping Jason’s alignment with four gods: Ares, Hermes, Apollo, and Athena. Depending on how you respond and which quests you complete, you earn favor to upgrade skills tied to these deities. Want to be a battle hardened warrior? Focus on Ares. Prefer cunning and speed? Hermes has your back.

That said, Rise of the Argonauts wasn’t without its flaws. Plenty of reviews at the time pointed out that boss fights felt a bit too straightforward, and enemy placement sometimes made encounters easier than they should’ve been.
