Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery

If you're into deep, story driven tactical games, you've gotta check out Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery. Developed by MICA Team, this turn based adventure is actually a full blown sequel to the popular Girls' Frontline but don’t expect more gacha mechanics. Nope, this one’s all about the narrative.

Right now, there's a public demo out, giving players a taste of what’s to come. And here’s the cool backstory: this global version is actually a remake of a game that was originally only available in China, called Codename: Bakery Girl. So for many of us, it’s a brand new experience.

The story drops you into a tense military conflict between two factions: the Antarctic Union and the URNC (Union of Rocksatterism Nations Coalition). Things kick off after something called the Three Goddesses Project no spoilers, but let’s just say the world’s not exactly at peace. You follow Mendo, an operative from the Antarctic Union, and Jefuty, the mysterious girl who saves him from an ambush. Together, they’re on the run, trying to survive while both major powers hunt them down.

One heads up: the voice acting is entirely in Japanese. So if you’re a sub over dub kind of person, you’re in for a treat. The audio really pulls you into the atmosphere, even if you don’t understand every word.

Whether you’re a Girls' Frontline fan looking for more lore or just someone who loves tactical RPGs with rich stories, Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery is shaping up to be something special. It’s tense, it’s emotional, and it’s got that classic MICA style all over it.
