Revenge of the Chicken

Ever heard of Revenge of the Chicken From Outer Space II? It’s this wild, off the wall short film that somehow managed to bring together legends like Michael Caine and John Belushi. Originally made for Microsoft Windows yep, you read that right it’s now available for both Mac and PC. Funny enough, it’s actually a quirky remake of A Few Good Men, but with a twist: it leans into its Windows origins in the most unexpected ways.

The story kicks off with four Earthlings chilling at a giant table in outer space, debating what to do with planet Earth. One argues that it’s totally fine if humans on another planet don’t meet their standards as long as they’re friendly, who cares? But the others aren’t having it. They threaten to send billions of killer robots to, well, eat all the humans. Just as things get heated, in walks the Chicken from Outer Space, who casually drops that he gets humans because he is one. Cue the confused silence, followed by someone finally sputtering, “Revenge of the chicken from outer space?!”

The plot then twists into this whole “send people back where they came from” vibe no planetarium exile allowed. One human even returns to Earth raving about how amazing everything is. But things really ramp up in Part II when Muriel gets kidnapped and shipped off to a random planetoid. Enter Michael Caine as a slightly grumpy alien who comes to her rescue. At first, he’s not thrilled about all the chaos she’s dragging along, so he dips. But soon, both of them discover they’ve developed telekinetic powers Muriel can move stuff with her mind and even project hologram like copies of herself. Talk about a glow up!
