Various Game Modes

The main part of Plants vs. Zombies is the Adventure mode, where you'll go through 50 levels with different layouts. Every fifth level has a mini game, and every tenth level brings a new challenge. These mini games are just for fun and don't affect your progress. The final challenge in Adventure mode is the Survival mode, where you face endless waves of zombies.

You can also play Survival mode on its own, choosing between normal or hard difficulty, aiming to survive long enough to capture five to ten flags. Other modes include Puzzles, which is an 18 level guessing game where you match plant seeds to zombie vases, and Zen Garden, a relaxing space where you can take care of your plant collection.
