The game started out as Coaster Park Tycoon but evolved into something much bigger. It takes a lot of inspiration from classics like Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, but with way better graphics and a more interactive, top down view that makes planning your park feel super immersive. You get to place rides, customize scenery, tweak layouts, and even set ticket prices pretty much everything you’d do if you were running a real park.

One of the coolest things about Planet Coaster is how many ways you can play. Sandbox Mode is a fan favorite because it gives you unlimited resources and total creative freedom. Want to build a coaster that defies physics? Go for it. Then there’s Challenge Mode, where you have to manage finances and keep guests happy, and Scenario Mode, which throws specific goals your way. The only downside? Career Mode has rubbed some players the wrong way since you need to buy extra DLCs to finish certain missions. Yeah, that part feels a bit like a cash grab.

But don’t let that one issue turn you off. The level of detail in this game is insane you can customize everything from the color of the rides to the types of trees lining your pathways. The graphics are smooth, the animations are lively, and watching your park come to life is seriously satisfying. Whether you’re into creative building or strategic management, Planet Coaster has something for you.
