Outworlder

Outworlder is the first game from Igloosoft Games LLC, a fresh indie studio mostly based in the Eastern US. The team is made up of former hobbyists who studied programming and aren't afraid to take creative risks even if things don't always work out, they see every project as a chance to learn. Outworlder is definitely one of their more ambitious efforts, and if it succeeds, it won’t be their first win. The game drops you into a dark, futuristic world where Earth has been taken over by the Outworlders a terrifying race that rules through fear. You step into the shoes of a young prince, the last survivor, driven by revenge to stand up against these oppressive beings.

If you're into strategy or simulation games, Outworlder might not be your usual cup of tea. It plays more like a visual novel, where you dive deep into the minds of the characters you meet. You'll need to figure out their motives, react to events, and make choices that shape the story all within a limited number of moves. How you manage these interactions and define each character’s role can totally change the outcome of your journey. It’s all about using the Outworlder character smartly to reach your goals.

What really makes Outworlder stand out is its creative freedom. You get to design behaviors for around 20 different characters and even shape the world around them. Want to build your own island? Go for it. Populate it with creatures and plants you design, set up a dock for supplies, or hire workers to keep things running. You can even send your in game kids on missions like finding rare items or helping a sick pet. Every choice you make helps build the universe around you, using the Outworlder as your main tool. It’s a unique experience, especially if you love being part of an online community and crafting your own stories.
