Ever wanted to control a giant mutant octopus on a rampage through cities, submarines, and helicopters? Octogeddon lets you do exactly that. It’s a free indie action strategy game where you play as a cephalopod with a serious attitude problem and an ever growing collection of animal arms. From crab claws to electric eels, you can mix and match limbs to create your ultimate destroyer. The controls are super simple just move left or right but the strategy runs deep. Every enemy you smash drops coins, and you’ll use those to upgrade your arsenal mid chaos. It’s chaotic, ridiculous, and ridiculously fun.

The game oozes personality. The art is bold and cartoony, packed with little details and silly jokes that keep the mood light. If you’ve ever played Plants vs Zombies, you’ll recognize the humor it’s from the same creator, after all. But Octogeddon isn’t just a clone. It carves out its own identity with its over the top concept and upgrade driven gameplay. That said, it’s not for everyone. The action can get repetitive after a while, and the visuals, while charming, might feel a bit simplistic to some. Still, it runs smoothly on both Windows 10 and Windows 11, so it’s an easy pick up and play option when you’re in the mood for something goofy and destructive.
