There are over a dozen forms to find, and the real fun is "cross pollinating" their skills. Imagine giving your Rogue the Turtle's defensive shell, or your Robot the Mermaid's healing song. The combinations are hilarious and incredibly satisfying to experiment with, letting you build a truly custom hero to tackle the game's clever dungeons and quirky quests.

It's not just a solo adventure, either. You can team up with a friend in online co op to cause twice the chaos. While it's a blast to combine forms with a buddy, it's worth noting that the second player joins as a guest, so their progress is tied to the host's save file. And while the core gameplay loop of transforming and experimenting is a 10/10, cycling through your many forms in the heat of battle can feel a tiny bit clunky on a controller.

But those are small quibbles in what is otherwise a brilliantly fun and endlessly inventive dungeon crawler. Nobody Saves the World takes a simple idea shapeshifting and builds an entire, hilarious, and deeply engaging RPG around it. It’s a game that constantly surprises you, encourages creativity, and proves that saving the world doesn't have to be a serious business.
