While the game doesn’t let you pick a specific gender, it emphasizes inclusivity through pronoun selection. Early on, you'll meet two intriguing characters, Richiyo and Alice, who help set the stage for your journey. One of the first major decisions you’ll make is selecting a club to join whether it’s photography, art, boys' or girls' volleyball, or soccer. Behind the scenes, Haikyuu Otome is a passion project brought to life by a dedicated team. After reviewing over 600 applications, Nahla assembled a group of volunteers split into coding, art, and storyboarding teams. They’re working hard to expand the game, which is currently in pre alpha, meaning there’s plenty more content on the way. The developers have big plans, including multiple high school storylines set across Japan, so the game is only going to get richer with time.
