Grand Theft Auto IV Grand Theft Auto IV

Grand Theft Auto IV

Step into the gritty streets of Liberty City with Grand Theft Auto IV, the eleventh installment in the legendary GTA series. This game keeps the heart pumping action you love shootouts, car thefts, and open world chaos all wrapped in a dark, cinematic story.

Unlike later entries, this version strips away the online multiplayer but makes up for it by bundling in the Episodes from Liberty City DLC right from the start. That means more story, more action, and more reasons to lose yourself in the urban jungle.

You play as Niko Bellic, an immigrant with a troubled past trying to carve out a new life in America. Whether you're following the intense story missions or causing mayhem on your own terms, the freedom to explore and experiment is all yours.

Graphically, don’t expect a remaster. The visuals are untouched from the original 2008 release, which isn’t all bad it runs smoothly even on older or budget PCs. You’ll need at least a dual core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, and a 256 MB graphics card. Oh, and clear about 22 GB off your hard drive.

One big change: you now have to boot the game through the Rockstar Launcher. Say goodbye to Windows Live this version is fully offline, so no leaderboards, no multiplayer, just you against the city.

But fair warning: the game’s got some infamous bugs. The final mission is particularly glitchy sometimes Niko falls off a helicopter, other times your save file gets corrupted. It’s frustrating, especially since these issues were never patched.

Still, if you can look past the rough edges, GTA IV offers a deep, moody, and unforgettable experience. Just make sure you’ve got that Rockstar account ready before you dive in.
