Ever heard of Forge of Empires? It’s a totally free, browser based strategy game where you get to build your own empire from scratch. Developed by InnoGames GmbH, it first hit the web back in April 2021, and not long after, it became available on mobile first iOS, then Android. So whether you're at your desk or on the go, you can keep growing your civilization.

You start by picking one of four unique empires, each with its own backstory and missions. Your job? Grow your civilization, manage resources, raise an army, and trade with other players to stay ahead. You’ll need to build structures, train troops, and even engage in battles to earn coins and expand your influence. But be careful everything takes time. Building up your military can leave you vulnerable, so smart planning is key. The longer you play, the more resources you accumulate, letting you invest in stronger units and cooler tech to crush your rivals.

The ultimate goal in Forge of Empires is to colonize all five corners of the world and become the dominant empire. You’ll develop cities, research tech, set up factories, produce food, and even build railroads to keep everything connected. The core gameplay revolves around capturing territories on the game map red zones represent military and worker facilities, while blue stands for water sources. Each player has a limited number of turns, so every move counts. Once your turns are up, the game ends, and only the strongest empire remains standing.
