EVEREST Home Edition is basically what every tinkerer's been looking for totally free and actually useful for home pc folks. You get a bunch of hardware diagnostics and memory tests, without having to sell your soul or your data. It's all built on the EVEREST platform yeah, the one everyone used to rave about for being freakishly accurate at digging up every last detail about your hardware.

What's in the box? Stuff like online tools, memory speed tests, hardware monitoring plus it'll spill the beans on your system's nitty gritty bits you didn't even know existed. The catch? Lavalys, the crew behind it, decided to pull the plug and stop developing EVEREST Home Edition. They're still offering support, but only until March 2006. And don't hold your breath for shiny new features after version 2.20 what you see is what you get, my friend.
