It's a totally free Windows game from Heart State Games that’s all about drifting, speed, and pure arcade fun. Right now, it's still in early access, which means the devs are actively working on it fixing bugs, polishing the graphics, and dropping new content to make it even better over time.

You get to pick from eight different cars, each with its own style, and just tear up the streets. The handling is super arcadey think more Need for Speed than serious sims like Gran Turismo. That means you can slide around corners like a pro, hit the nitrous for a crazy speed burst, and really feel the rush as you weave through traffic. And yeah, you will crash if you’re not paying attention it’s all part of the thrill.

There’s already a pretty big open city to explore, complete with different neighborhoods (one even gives off Chinatown vibes) and plenty of cars to dodge. Right now, there aren’t any missions or story mode it’s more of a sandbox where you can just drive around, practice your drifts, hit jumps, and enjoy the chaos. But the developers are steadily expanding the map and improving the visuals, so it’s only going to get bigger and better.

If you love games like Asphalt 9: Legends or the classic Need for Speed Underground, you’ll feel right at home here. Drift City Underground is already a blast to play, especially if you’re into that arcade style handling and high speed action. And since it’s free and still growing, it’s a great way to jump into something fresh and see how a game evolves during development.
