Call of Duty: Vanguard Review ? WWII Is Back, Baby

Back to the Trenches (And It's Surprisingly Fresh)

Alright, so Call of Duty: Vanguard jumps back into World War II... again. I know, I know, it's not exactly unexplored territory, but somehow, this one actually feels alive. The story kicks off with a handful of new faces dropping into chaos from Europe to the Pacific, even North Africa gets some love. Gotta say, it's more dramatic than your neighbor's reality TV obsession.

Now, let's talk about that Champion Hill mode for a sec. Imagine Counter Strike and Apex Legends had a baby, then tossed it into a sweaty 2v2 showdown. That's pretty much it. It's frantic, it's addictive, and it's a decent shake up from the usual run n gun. And yeah, Zombies are back too. Because, honestly, what's a COD game without a little undead chaos? Adds some nice spice to the mix.

Multiplayer Madness & Warzone Crossover

So, multiplayer? It's stacked. There's like 20 maps at launch no joke, you'll be running around Europe, getting lost, and probably rage quitting more than once. And the Warzone integration? Pretty slick. You get to drag your guns and operators over, so you don't have to grind everything from scratch (thank God).

That said, not everything's sunshine. The 2v2 matches can get a little campy like, "I'm just gonna hide here and wait" levels of boring sometimes. Still, most of the time it's just pure, wild action. All in all, Vanguard cranks up the chaos and earns its spot in the COD lineup. If you're into big explosions and yelling at strangers online, you're gonna love it.
