Bsnes
Hey everyone, just wanted to give you a quick update about the Bsnes situation. It looks like the developer byuum has temporarily removed the Windows XP binary files from the main website. If you've got any questions or concerns about this, you can always reach out to him directly via email. From what I've heard, the team might be working on bringing them back, but I don't have any official confirmation on that yet.
I was personally pretty disappointed because I was really looking forward to downloading Bsnes Basic for my office network. It's one of my favorite emulators, and I was hoping to set it up for some retro gaming during breaks. The word is that these files might only be available through their database until next spring, after which you might be able to find them for free on other download sites.
Speaking of downloads, I recently grabbed Bsnes super turbo file cleaner for my personal computer, and things got a bit messy. There was an issue where I had to enter my network password due to a developer error, and the next thing I knew, my password was reset and I couldn't access my network anymore. It was pretty frustrating, so I ended up digging through the Bsnes forums to see if anyone else had similar problems and how they fixed them.
Good news though – the Windows binary files for Bsnes are back up now! If you want to get everything running again, you'll need to use retroplay software. Just install it on your computer, follow the step by step guide on the website, and you'll eventually land on a page where you can locate your Bsnes software CD. Once that's done, you're all set to dive back into those classic retro games. Happy gaming!
