Assassin's Creed Origins yeah, that one from Ubisoft slides into the franchise like a hot knife through butter. It's actually the tenth main game (I know, you'd think we'd have run out of ancient conspiracies by now), coming in after Syndicate and, oddly, something called Rogue Warrior. This time, forget London, forget Paris, we're whisked away to the (totally fictional, by the way) island of Absteria, smack in the middle of the French Revolution chaos. Modes, Missions, and the Usual Madness

So, Origins tosses you two ways to play: Story Mode and Adventure Mode. Story Mode splits into two arcs one's all about the 16jo and 16ma historical mess (don't ask, it's complicated), and the other? Modern day shenanigans. Adventure Mode, on the other hand, is peak open world mayhem. We're talking a buffet of side quests, puzzles, and the kind of distractions that'll have you forgetting what the main story even was. Want a taste? There's this one side quest where you roll with a crew of pirates to storm a prison ship. Picture this: you're scrambling up rope ladders, frantically disabling cannons, sweat dripping then, bam!
